La scrittura del Sé. Soggetto, vita e memoria nell'autobiografismo filosofico

The essay deals with the problem of the “false” in philosophical autobiographism, looking at its con- ceptual productivity. Rather than simply marking Nietzsche’s, Rousseau’s, Kierkegaard’s and other autobiographies as a false, covering them with a moral curtain, the essay reconstructs strategies and techniques (omission, dissimulation, pseudonyms, false signatures) of this produc- tion of the false, understood as a hiatus between discourse and reality. The paper aims at show- ing how this complex and problematic activity of ‘writing the Self’ increase the intelligibility of classic philosophical topics such as ‘subject’, ‘life’, and ‘memory’.
